An Ancient Herbal Fat-Burning-Tea Recipe
This recipe is formulated with herbs from the Ayurvedic, East Asian, and North American Materia Medicas - so it draws upon the best of cultural wisdoms! These herbs aid digestion and curb sugar cravings. Please note that if you are experiencing unusual weight gain, it is important that you see your Primary Care Physician to discuss your symptoms.
1/2 Tsp. Gurmar Powder
1 Tsp. Ginseng Root Extract Powder
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon Powder
1/2 Tsp. Black Pepper Corns
1 bag Oolong Tea (warning: caffeine)
Bring 30oz (1/4 gallon) of water to a boil, add the herbs, TURN OFF THE HEAT, put a lid on the pot, and steep for 10-15 minutes.
Add oat milk for a delicious latte!
About the herbs: Gurmar helps in suppressing your appetite and reducing sugar cravings. Ginseng is excellent for the gut and induces the production of gut bacteria which assists in nutrient absorption. It can also improve your metabolism. Oolong Tea has caffeine which increases your heart-rate and this speeds metabolism. Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties, and stabilizes blood sugar. Black Pepper contains pipeline which can prevent the storage of fat because it increases your body’s temperature and your body burns calories to bring your temperature back to normal.
